The 血 Donor Program is committed to helping create happy, healthy, and sustainable communities.
We ask donors to donate locally. When you donate at the 血 Donor Program, your donation is used to help treat and save the lives of local residents. This means that every time you donate blood, 血小板, or plasma with the 血 Donor Program, you are helping your family members, 所爱的人, 朋友, 同事, and neighbors… the members of your community.
Not only does your blood donation stay local, but it also helps other local non-profits and businesses. Multiple times throughout the year, the 血 Donor Program partners with a local non-profit or a local business to help them get what they need. We also work with community members and organizations.

Josie is a local girl who received blood transfusions as part of her treatment for leukemia. Her family holds a blood drive every year in March to help make sure everyone undergoing cancer treatment has the blood they need to keep fighting. We match any points donated to the Cancer Center in March and purchase gift cards that are given to patients to help with groceries and basic necessities.

Upper Valley Humane Society (UVHS) and West Lebanon Feed & Supply: Every May, we purchase a 5-pound bag of food through West Lebanon Feed & Supply for every donation made to UVHS. In 2023, we donated over 1,300 pounds of dog and cat food! In addition to this annual drive in May, donors can donate their reward points to UVHS, and we make monetary donations to help them offset the costs of caring for the animals in need.
Give a Child Another Chapter
Norwich Bookstore and 十大正规博彩网站评级正规博彩平台卫生 Children’s: In August, we work with Norwich Bookstore and purchase a book for every donation given to the 十大正规博彩网站评级正规博彩平台卫生 Children's Child Life program, just in time for Childhood Literacy Month in September. The staff at Norwich Bookstore has fun picking out an assortment of books for children of all ages. In 2023, it was over 300 books!
Thanks for Giving
Upper Valley Haven and Vermont Food Bank: Every October, we purchase a turkey from the Vermont Food Bank for every donation and donate it to the Upper Valley Haven for their Turkey Day. The Haven gives out a complete Thanksgiving meal, including a turkey, all the sides and dessert, to families in need throughout the Upper Valley. This allows those families to enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving meal together.
